A partnership agreement was signed today between the Italian group “SEGIT”, which specializes in the manufacture of plastic and rubber components for the automotive industry, and the company “Siplast”, a subsidiary of the public group “ENPC”, both affiliated with the holding company ACS, to establish an economic interest group (GIE) in Algeria.
The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Algerian Ministry of Industry, in the presence of the Minister of Industry, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, and representatives from the Italian company and its Algerian partner. This is an important step in supporting the local manufacturing of spare parts for the vehicle industry.
The industrial group will specialize in the manufacture of plastic accessories for vehicles and is scheduled to begin operations in the province of Setif, eastern Algeria.
