The National Company for Marketing and Distribution of Petroleum Products (Naftal) announced the start of marketing new oils from a brand other than Naftal at its service stations and points of sale across the country, at official, fixed prices.
The new announcement from Naftal was posted on their official Facebook page. The new oils will be from the Castrol brand, which are original oils imported from Belgium. The new oils include two types:
- Castrol GTX 10W-40 at 5,700 DZD.
- Castrol EDGE Turbo Diesel 5W-40 at 8,300 DZD.
The goal of Naftal’s marketing of Castrol-branded oils is to regulate the local market and lower prices. Motor oil prices have seen significant increases in recent years due to the import ban. Naftal’s latest move will significantly contribute to lowering prices and providing high-quality oils at unified prices.
Naftal has emphasized the need to report any price changes via the official website email, by calling 3305, or by reporting them to the Ministry of Commerce’s Control and Fraud Control Department.
As a step to improve services, Naftal recently launched its own mobile application. It aims to improve the quality of its service and bring customers closer to it. Through this application, it showcases the services it provides across the country.
Through the application, customers can find the nearest oil station, its availability, and prices.
The new Naftal application is available on the Google Play Store under the name NAFTAL KHDAMAT .
