Chinese bus manufacturer Higer celebrated 20 years since its first appearance in the Algerian market during a ceremony held at the Sheraton Hotel in Algiers under the theme of “Gratitude, Innovation, and Future Vision.”

The event was attended by numerous partners, institutions, and investors in the automotive sector, as well as numerous local and international media outlets.

According to a statement issued by Higer, since 2005, Higer buses have been plying the roads of Algeria, a symbol of reliability, comfort, and technical excellence.

Over two decades, nearly 10,000 vehicles have been delivered, making Higer the leading bus brand in Algeria, according to the statement.

Higer unveiled its new lineup, the V Series, the result of three years of research and development, built on an entirely new platform, this series represents a new generation of buses, designed to combine performance, comfort, modern design, and more environmentally friendly solutions.

This series covers a variety of uses, from urban transportation to tourism, marking Higer’s entry into a new phase of innovation and global export.
