the electric A390 SUV presented to families for the first time

To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Alpine has unveiled its first electric SUV, the A390. The A110 will join the A110 R70, a limited-edition berlinetta specially designed for the event.

The brand, which bears the arrowhead “A,” celebrated its 70th anniversary at its historic headquarters in Dieppe, Seine-Maritimes, from May 30 to June 1, 2025. During the celebrations, Alpine showcased the 2025 A110 range in a 900-square-meter space on the waterfront lawns, including the Alpine A110 GTS, a limited edition specially designed for the anniversary, the A110 R70—of which 770 will be produced—and the Alpine A110 R Ultime.

But alongside the iconic A110 Berlinetta, which will soon become a part of the brand’s past, its all-electric replacement will be introduced in 2026, and models that already embody its “electric” future will also be present.

From the Renault 5 sports car to the Alpine A290, which was crowned European Car of the Year 2025 last January, this powerful hatchback will join its bigger sibling, the Alpine A390 SUV, unveiled on May 27 and making its public debut in Dieppe.

In addition to its static display, the Alpine A390 will be unleashing its wheels during the show on the streets of Dieppe, as will the Alpenglow Hy6, a prototype with a 740 hp hydrogen-powered turbocharged V6 engine. This car was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in the fall of 2024.
