Just weeks after Audi launched the new A6 Avant, the sedan is now following suit, and it’s expected to be well-received by corporate customers and drivers in Europe, China, and the United States.
The new A6 sedan is based on the PPC architecture and features the elegant lines and high-quality details typical of Audi cars.
The car is 4.99 meters long and has a wheelbase of 2.93 meters, ensuring ample space even in the rear, the trunk capacity is 492 liters, making it slightly smaller than the Avant (503 liters).
Visually, the A6 appears slimmer and sportier than before, for the first time, the sedan features optional rear-axle steering, which, in conjunction with the air suspension, provides even greater agility, this system has already proven itself in the Avant.
The car is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline and diesel engine, each producing 204 hp, a 367 hp V6 gasoline engine is also available, and a hybrid engine is in the works.
As for pricing, the sedan will start at €55,000 when it launches this summer. This price is commensurate with the build quality, engine power, and elegant design that distinguish German Audi cars.
Audi is suffering from the effects of the new US tariffs, especially since the German company does not have a factory in the United States, which would force it to pay hefty tariff costs if it decided to sell its cars to American consumers.
