Renault Austral enhances looks and enhances style

Renault has recently worked to unify its entire lineup around a single visual identity. This was confirmed last month with the redesign of the Renault Espace, and today it’s the turn of the Renault Austral.

The Renault Austral has undergone an update three years after its launch to align with its newer counterparts.

The most notable changes are its bold new look, inspired by the new Rafale Coupe SUV, with trapezoidal headlights, a larger diamond-pattern grille, and new daytime running lights with a toothy design.

Renault has announced the arrival of two additional colors to its color scheme: Overseas Blue and Satin Pearl White. The brand explains that the two-tone colors are now available in a medium technical finish.

The Renault Austral comes with an arsenal of 32 driving aids, including cruise control, emergency braking, and parking assistance.

The car comes with two engines: a 1.3-liter mild hybrid with 130 hp, and a 200 hp E-Tech Full Hybrid version.

The redesigned Renault Austral will be available for order by summer 2025, with three trim levels: Evolution, Techno, and Esprit Alpine.

Pricing has not yet been announced, but is expected to rise slightly. The Renault Austral currently starts at 36,600€.
